Madder – We sell two types of madder Rubia tinctorum (Dyer’s madder) and Rubia cordifolia (Indian madder). Madder is one of the oldest dyestuffs. It is used to produce turkey reds, mulberry, orange-red, terracotta, and in combination with other dyes to give crimson, purple, rust, browns, and near blacks

This Madder root is best infused into the oil of your choice for cp soap.

You will achieve anywhere from orange/red, light pink to purple depending on how
much you add to your recipe.

This madder lends itself more toward the red tones

Madder is also used to dye wool
