Another name for this plant is mountain cedar. Cedarwood Texas is not a true cedar it is really a juniper as you can see from the Latin name.
Warm, balsamic, woody yet quite smoky.
Cleansing, astringent, fungicidal. May be helpful in skin infections, acne and blemishes. Insecticide. Immune stimulant. Used in bathing, inhalation, facial wash & diffusers. Calmative, sedative.

Blends well with bergamot, Juniper berry, Black Pepper, Clary sage,Clove, Citrus, Coriander, Neroli, Rose, Ylang Ylang.
